Today I am extremely proud to say that LaunchSource has successfully placed over 100 candidates at great companies in the Boston area in just under a year! This couldn’t have been done without everyone on our dedicated team that is focused on a great candidate experience.

Launchsource started as an idea centered around evangelizing sales as a discipline, and has evolved into a company that helps entry-level candidates polish their sales and business skills while starting careers at fast-growing startups.

Today academia still looks at sales as a trade, but in reality it requires a well-rounded education and skillset that almost all business school graduates still don’t receive while in college. In the last 10 years sales has fundamentally changed, becoming more consultative versus transactional. What people don’t understand is how hard sales is, how rewarding it is, and how you can truly build a very successful business career by starting in sales.

Upon graduation, I personally never thought I would be in sales, yet after 15 years I couldn’t think of doing anything else because it’s been so fun and rewarding. I’ve been lucky to bring together a team that believes the same thing, and has helped transform the way entry-level candidates understand sales.

But what I’m most proud of and passionate about is the 100 people that are now invigorated and excited about their new careers. The relationship my team and I have with the people we have placed now allows us to watch those people find success at their companies and be promoted. Many of our former candidates even come back to us as leaders of their respective teams, looking to hire more talented entry-level candidates for their companies.

Our mission is to continue to build a strong community of business leaders, evangelize sales as the best place to start your business career, and help entry-level candidates find that first job that opens the doors for a fulfilling and successful business career for years to come.

As we continue to grow throughout 2016, I’m excited to announce that we plan to expand our efforts to New York and Chicago where we look forward to connecting talented entry-level candidates with high-energy, high-growth companies.
