"The challenge of sales is what motivated me to transition from the food industry. I graduated from college with a Bachelor's in International Business from UMASS Boston. Landing my first corporate job was challenging without experience, but each rejection motivated me even more to secure a 'yes.' LaunchSource provided the tools and network I needed to land my first corporate job. I am very driven and goal-oriented, and without a doubt, sales was the perfect choice."
What’s your best advice for interviewing for the SDR Role given the competitive landscape and the current demand for higher quality talent?
- Do your research: Explore the company's website and social media platforms to understand their operations, examine customer case studies, and familiarize yourself with their values and culture. On LinkedIn, connect with employees from the company, particularly those you will be interviewing with.
- Get familiar with common tools: Acquaint yourself with the tools SDRs frequently use, such as Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, etc., to perform their duties effectively.
- Leverage references: References are crucial. Always check your network to see if you know anyone connected to an employee at the company.
