THE SITUATION
Bluecore needed to hire SDRs to help accelerate their sales pipeline and build a foundation for future Account Executive, Customer Success, and Account Manager roles. At the beginning of November 2020, The Board approved a plan to hire a full class of SDRs by mid-December 2020 with a focus on diversity.
THE CHALLENGE
Bluecore knew they needed to diversify their team but did not have a process in place to ensure more women and underrepresented candidates were entering their hiring funnel. On top of that, they knew the average time to fill an SDR role is 80-96 days. They began interviewing, using their internal recruiting team to fill the SDR roles, but quickly learned getting diverse candidates into the hiring funnel was a difficult task . They started evaluating outside solutions to help them fill these roles, but found that traditional recruiting agencies did not offer candidates with diversity in mind.
THE RESULT
